Run across slippery, frozen surfaces with ultralight, low-profile traction. Like studded snow tires for your feet, the NANOspikes® bite into icy sidewalks or roads while preserving shoe flexibility.
The NANOspikes® incorporate Kahtoola’s Patent Pending technology to provide excellent durability, comfort, and performance in a package that is still lightweight and low profile. Dual-density traction plates utilize a durable and flexible TPU that wraps around the shoe, with harder TPU plates under the foot to disperse forces and increase comfort. Upward-facing traction nubs lock the NANOspikes® into the tread of the shoe to prevent unwanted movement or slippage against the shoe sole. A tapered, stepped and shock-absorbing TPU cleat surrounds each of the ten tungsten-carbide spikes (per foot) to provide unmatched durability and superior traction in a variety of conditions.
Additionally, the NANOspikes® elastomer harness incorporates more of Kahtoola’s Patent Pending technology with our reinforced eyelets, allowing the elastomer harness to be lightweight and low profile without sacrificing durability.
